Parent Experience

As a parent or legal guardian of a Starks Homes’ client, you are a part of the team that is giving valuable input into the decisions related to your son’s care. This begins right at admission, when you will be given an opportunity to participate alongside our behavioral health professionals and staff members as we make decisions regarding the start of your son’s treatment. Throughout the time of your son’s stay here, you will remain updated concerning your son’s progress and have continued chances to give input.

Are you concerned about how to create the best experience for your son when the time comes for him to transition back into your home, or to wherever the next stage of his life may take him? So are we, and we will do our part to help prepare both him and you so that you will be ready for the excitement and challenges of the time ahead.

We know that the entire family unit needs support when an individual has dealt with a behavioral health issue. For this reason, we offer family-strengthening weekend activities. Whenever possible, we also help to strengthen resident families through modeling, mentorship, educational awareness, and connection with additional support services.
